About Conjoint Systems
Conjoint Systems (www.conjointinc.com) is the Offshore Development center of JDS Solutions (www.jdssc.com) of California USA. We have relationship with JDS for around 9 years but started the offshore development center for last 8 months. We create/enhance products of JDS, which takes care of the front end and the backend needs of mid sized retail chains.
Conjoint and JDS also have plans for growing the business in .Net and other technologies and in next 4-6 months the company is going to expand. Apart from the PB requirement and projects from JDS Conjoint is going to get many other projects from clients other than JDS.
JOB DESIGNATION: Project Lead (PowerBuilder)
JOB LOCATION: Indore
JOB DESCRIPTION / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position as a PowerBuilder project Lead you will be responsible for a team of 3-5 developers. The team will develop/maintain client/server systems using object-oriented features. You will provide full life-cycle software development (design, development, testing, and maintenance) for applications written in an Object-Oriented Client Server Environment.)
· Manage the support of one or more PowerBuilder applications in the Retail industry
· Develop, deploy and convert solution of various technologies as requested.
· Provide technical support and perform trouble-shooting to resolve problems in a timely manner.
· Define and translate end user requirements into application solutions.
· Develop application software components to sustain current requirements.
· Interact with customer to assist and address potential/current production issues.
· Provide excellent services and deliver high-quality products in timely manner.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 6 years of experience with Power builder.
· Must have PFC and PB 8.5 & above.
· Must have 4-6 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and above.
· Must have very good knowledge of Trigger, Store Procedure and Performance Tuning.
· Full Life Cycle development experience.
· Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
· Need excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to interact with internal customers to provide and resolve issues
o Experienced with .Net is a big plus
o Experienced with Java is a big plus
· Must be a self-driven team player and enjoy working closely with others and ability to work independently.
